International Women’s Day 2021: Celebrating Our SMAHRT Women in Science

Composite of the current and alumni women who have contributed to SMAHRT

By: Elise Goldstein & Dr. Megan Moreno

On this International Women’s Day and beyond, we want to recognize the hard work and dedication of our women in science. We’re proud to work with and recognize strong females on SMAHRT – from the past and present, who have helped change the trajectory of people in the science industry. As a team we are committed to challenging gender bias and inequality in science and research.

Dr. Moreno here, when I look at this incredible composite of the talented and brilliant women we’ve worked with over the past decade I am blown away. This composite includes our interns, staff and collaborators, many of whom have become colleagues. I feel incredibly privileged to have shared time in my professional journey with each of these women.

This month we are celebrating some of our current and past team members and their accomplishments.
